Contacts?

I'm about to get contacts and I was wondering if you guys good give me any advice on cleaning and types?
I'm slightly nervous about loosing them..

I have monthly and it works fine. And you won't lose them. :P They don't just magically fall out of your eye. :P

I use the permanent ones. Sometimes you have to take them out and clean them with whatever the eye doctor suggests.

Mine breathes, so I don't have to worry about taking them out before bed. It sucks if you accidentally fall asleep with non-breathing types.

Daily are the best imo. I mean if you drop one you can just open up another, i am forever dropping them and if you do that with a monthly and cant find it its a very bad thing to happen. Plus with a daily if one is lost sure you lose a day of contacts but at least you dont lose half a months worth

I have the ones you take out each night, put into the solution and then put them back in in the morning. Then after 2 weeks you're supposed to throw them away and open a new package, but I don't know anyone that follows that rule.

When you put them in, make sure it isn't inside out. It's really uncomfortable. Mine sometimes fall out if I'm rubbing my eyes a lot, but I just catch them and put them back in. They aren't really too hard to use, honestly. I was scared when I first got them but now I'm fine with them.

My eyes get a little red when I first put them in, so I have Visine for Contacts near my case in my room, and I put some drops in.

If you are supposed to take them out nightly, do it. If you fall asleep with them in, it feels like they are glued to your eyeball.

From the sounds of it I think I'll go with the daily ones that you just throw away. Because as my first time I don;'t want to lose my months worth then be fucked.

Make sure you don't fall asleep in them though because i accidentally slept in mine for two days and got a stye

they could fall from your hand putting them in or taking them out. i always do that and can never find them after i drop them
