Seems like a pretty cool community here. So I figured I'd join.

I'm 16. I live in China, but I'm American. I know one other person on this forum. But they don't know I'm here... hehe

Look forward to communing with everyone!

Oh hello there, from a Canadian Chinese :) Thanks for giving me that heads up - if I do end up visiting my relatives back in the homeland or anything, I know I won't be looking at a ridiculously extended absence!

I definitely look forward to seeing you around. Are you fluent in the language as well?

Have fun making sure everyone here pronounces your name right :P

Welcome!

Always since to see a new face :)
Surprised VT came through since China censors a lot of internet sites.

Anywho, take your shoes off and stay a while = ]

Haha, there are only a few sites that are really blocked. Facebook, youtube, twitter, any blogspot blog, things that china can't really control. There are chinese equivalent sites like these, but they are self-censoring, if you post something too sensitive it'll be deleted.

And I have ways around the censoring, anyway!

oh, and my screen name, xiaozi (小资), is pronounced shao zuh...... kind of... heh. It's a term for people who like modern living... not normal chinese lifestyle. 小资 chose a more modern zen lifestyle, spending more money on enjoying life now...
