I think i managed to give myself sunburn in lines up my arms

anyway the scars on my arms have turned pink and are pealing a bit. Typical sunburn, just that it's not all over just where it was white.

I realize I should be wearing sunscreen anyway, but should i be using a stronger one than i'd use normally bc of this?
[normally i use like spf 15-20 -- i don't burn(until this :P)]

Get some aloe vera it will reduce the peeling and moisturize and cool your skin. Try using a higher spf maybe that would help

Aloe vera
you don't need to much, but this will help it.
Next time ether put on sunscreen or go up to about spf30 maybe higher.

yeah. aloe vera works great. and a higher sunscreen should be used, like SPF 30...

it actually doen't really hurt much. and if it did it wouldn't bother me. I just don't want to risk problems later in life :P

i know exactly how you feel. i work in a water park during the summer and experienced this the first week of my first job. i was sunburnt, being tired from the sunburn, and peeling.

use Aloe vera like everyone else said. that helps in any way possible
i use NO-AD spf50
what i do to avoid sunburn is get a surf shirt. I use BodyGlove and it works perfect. it keeps my back protected from sunburn. sun screen or block doesnt last on my back too long. or, just use a white undershirt, that helps a lot too.

apply sunscreen as needed, but not too much. (using too much doesnt reduce being tan. i still have my tan from summer 09. lol. just a little note.)

if you feel like you are ever burning up, quickly get into a shaddy area, put some water on the part of yourself that burns FIRST, THEN you dry it off, (DO NOT RUB DRY IT OFF, JUST DAB DRY) after that, apply as much sunscreen as you desire. but not an overload. lol

This is coming from a person who works at a water park. and trust me, what i said works (well for me at least. you can try it if you want.)
