Question for the guys

I didn't really know where to post this... General Questions seemed like a good place. But feel free to move if this should go else where.

Anyway, just to get a guy's opinion, I was wondering what guys think of make up. Like, what do you think of girls wearing makeup? Do you like it better when a girl is all natural? Or wears a little bit of make up? I assume you DON'T like it when girls just cake it on their face. I know I think it looks stupid, but thats me. But, for example, I wear a thin amount of eye liner and mascara, and some coverup/foundation, just a thin layer to cover up the suprise little blemishes that enjoy appearing randomly :), and the light redness around my nose. Is that okay, like its not too much?

i like it all natural, however some girls look great with make up on. but girls that just cake it on or are always doing make up 24/7 i dont like, that i dont.

I like all natural, never have liked make up to be honest. If she wanted to wear it then sure, who am i to say she can't, but i'd prefer not.

I do like natural girls but sometimes i think that a girl can look beautiful if make-up is applied right.

like maybe if you were older and you were going out to a fancy restaurant you would want to put on lipstick and eye shadow to make yourself look sophisticated.

(Ahh i've seen so many make-up commercials i know all about it now!)

I DO LOVE MAKEUP!!! (and apply it on myself just to cover up) =D I like it, but if a girl doesn't like it, I can't oblige her, I like her even without :D

I guess your complexion shud determine how much you put on. I like when they put just enough on to hilite.

I like it natural or when there's light makeup. I don't like things that really stand out, like nail polish or lipstick on girls but that's just me. I don't care about lip gloss or other subtle make up things.

imo make up should enhance your natural beauty....not cover up your perceived flaws

i HATE when girls over-apply the base or eye shadow....u look like a clown, it's not attractive....

i totally get the whole creative self expression body image thing, but u can be expressive and creative without looking like an insecure, 2 cent whore.

i don't wanna kiss something that looks all chockey and gross.....like i cud scratch off layer after layer of make-up from ur face if i wanted to....

and i prefer gloss to lipstick too, lip stick tends to be better suited for older women and drag queens....

girls wearing too much make-up is the equivalent of guys using too much hair product, lol everything in moderation ppl!!!

Some make up isn't bad. Like eye liner is ok. But if you're fat and try to put on make up it's a huge turn off

Little or no make up is best but I like girls who smell really good. Not a lot of perfume, but just enough so when you walk by your like WOW!

I think a girl is more beautiful when it's just hew.. Make up is nothing but paste to hide a womens true beauty.

mascara and eye liner can be applied liberally in my opinion, any amount looks good (usually) all other make up shud be applied very lightly

I like how a girl looks with makeup if they generally do it right.

But it brings up an issue for me. I like to be able to look at things for what they really are. If you're using makeup, you're obscuring a certain part of yourself, so while it can certainly make you look better, it's going to seem like you're losing something when the makeup comes off.

Be proud of who you are, you don't need to enhance that with anything.

i think most chicks look better with makeup - sad to say that more aren't better looking natural but thats just my opinion
