No, it is not at all true that shaving causes your hair to grow back thicker.

Aye, it isn't true, the only thing shaving does is make it easier to manage/be less sweaty/and easier to shave the next time.

No, it is not true at all that hair comes back thicker and darker. Bear in mind that you are in puberty, and of course your hair is going to come in thick and dark especially in areas where you never had it before. In puberty you are developing hair everywhere, and it just seems like shaving makes hair thicker when in reality you are simply developing new hair as part of puberty.

I've shaved my pubes a number of times, and it grows back the same thickness/colour. If it is growing back darker, or thicker, then it's actually just growing. You'll constantly be growing more body hair throughout puberty, so what you're taking as thicker due to shaving, is actually just thicker due to puberty.

That is not true. It does not come back quicker, it comes back slower, and im not sure about the darkness. I haven't never paid attention to that.

Compared to how it was growing when it started growing for the first time *Start of puberty* it would grow back faster. But after time, it wont grow back any different (I think) :P

nah, its not true. Its just that the hair comes back more coarse because of the way you cut it

The hair does come back different, i suppose it looks darker and more there because you would have become adjusted to seeing shaven clear skin and the skin with hair is a strong contrast. I know that once i started shaving i had to keep it up - it irritated my skin so over the holidays i just let it grow back.
