The wait is over. Tomorrow, the iPad is released from Apple, finally. after all the hype and what not, we can now see for ourselves if it is worth to buy or not. Tomorrow, im not buying it lol, i am going to go the my local apple store for the launch to take videos and to test it out myself. this is the first time i am going to a launch day and see what they hype is all about. and i am going clothes shopping too. i am mainly going to look at the iPad for ibooks and see how typing on it is.

So, who is going to buy the iPad tomorrow and going to launch day?

nothing about the iphone on sprint has emerged. its all about verizon. wall street journal made a report on it going to verizon, there are so many mockups of the verizon iphone, verizon is prepared (that is the only rumor that i know of confirmed by verizon they are just waiting for apple) for iphone traffic, etc etc. i havnt seen anything about sprint iphone. are you thinking about the sprints new 4g phone HTC EVO? i dont think SPrint is ready for that kind of traffic. my friend she hates sprint and wishes she could be on Verizon or AT&T. but they do have cheap phone planes.

you can buy a keyboard seperately
you can put it in landscape
wait until the second version comes out and it will have most of the stuff.
apple makes sperate extension cords.
you can sync things on their if the ipad doesnt have it already.
wait until a jalbreak is made and you will have multitasking (i hate multitasking, battery eater)

its a tablet, not a computer. lol. i think the ipad would sell more towards the college and high school students rather than business people.

lol phone planes. yea sprint does have cheap plans which is good. overall they have a good service except for their reception. thats their biggest fault.

umm a couple days ago i heard rumors that apple possibly (possibly) would expand their next iphone generation to sprint and atandt (after apples contract with atandt is up obviously...which is this year).
anyways its just a rumour but im definitely keeping my hopes up. it would change my plans to not having to leave sprint (which is what i was gonna plan to do just to get the iphone.)

My dad my brothers and I all pitched in and got one pre-ordered for my mom. It's pretty much perfect for her. She rarely uses her computer for anything that the iPad can't already do.

So I tried it pit today and I was actually pretty awesome to be honest. And it is extremely different than the iPhone and iPod touch. Playing games on the ipad is amazing compared to the iPod touch and iPhone. The iWork suite is fantastic. Internet browing, is just a whole different experience. I thought the ipad wouldn't be that great but I was wrong. I'm still not buying it though imgojng to wait for improvements which apple will do. And I was right, the ipad is going to attract to high school and college kids. This is nothing for and adult or a business person to use.

I beleive that he is correct. the ipad lacks ALOT of things. if it had a webcam, fully working flash player for alot of new TOUCH sites and things. i would be more intriged. but the lack of them essentials which most of us Windows users are used to, makes up NOT want to buy technology which doesnt support technology.

The fact that after so many years a netbook battery can be replaced, a iPhone, Touch, Pad cant. it wold have to be dismantled and it is VERY hard to do.

As a paying customer I don't buy that excuses

I agree once jailbraking becomes common place (i'm sure its already started) the possibilities on what it can do will expand
but that doesn't take away from its severe hardware limitations

The fact is Apple could have revolutionized the way we think of computers and completly cornered the market
They had an EXCELLENT opportunity
Good reputation, wicked marketing and hype for the product, a solid fan base AND they're ahead of the pack giving them an incredible edge
all they had to do was deliver a quality product
Instead all they did was waste potential

It should have a cam and a mic
It should have a USB port even a mini port with an optional expensive apple brand adapter that fans would have eattin up
They should have had an SD slot for memory expansion
It should be running a version of OSX not an iphone OS
It should be able to multi-task
It should support flash, I don't care if the internet's going to html5, thats great! it is, but its not there yet and apple supporters shouldn't be forced to suffer the consequences
especially considering the cost.

But its nowhere near finished as far as i'm concerned
When you look at the features of the up and coming competition such as the HP Slate (there are others as well, soon to be more still)
the iPad doesn't have nearly the same amount of features or customization
Nor can it beat them in price

They're strictly relying on the brand name hype
and I'm sure that alone WILL make them ALLOT of money
I just think its horribly sad they would do that (i'm sure not bothering with the extra tech has saved them millions)
and they aren't getting my cash that easily

If i'm going to buy a Mac which I more then happily would
I have no bias against them
I've had 1 imac, 1 ibook, 2 ipods, and an itouch which i'm replacing soon

believe me, i think its good but i have no interest in getting it until it improves or i may get the HP slate for college if iPad still hasnt improved. i want a tablet to reduce the amount of notebooks to carry. sounds lame i know, but true.

jailbreaking isnt illegal. just software cracking for free apps and all. thats why apple doesnt agree with jailbreaking. an unjailbroken ipod or iphone is extremly boring. and getting the iPhone OS for free, should be free in the first place. if it was something major and 3.0 came out with features that we want now, i would have paid for it. its another way for apple to get money out of you. most of my friends upgraded to 3.0 for free instead of paying, what was the price 10 bucks i think. i was like screw that. im not paying for a software upgrade for ten bucks. i would have gotten it not for free if it was like five dollars.

OOVOO and iChat would have been ten times more popular then ever. dude if the iPad supported OS X and not iPhone OS, i would have said goodbye to my crappy Vista desktop and my iBook G4 which is ten times better than my vista i Have. that would be so awesome if the iPad ran OS X Snow Leopard or even Leopard would have been great.

this is a mistake im hoping apple will realize and could have made it better on the first gen rather than improving it on a later gen.
