Music Sharing Catastrophe

What exactly am I suppose to do when somebody is letting me hear music on their I-pod and I don't like it? I mean, some of the stuff my "friends" share with me is pure crap on a stick. But I don't want to come off as rudely blunt person. Nor do I want to sit their and listen to five more minutes of people screaming. Any suggestions?

Just say "It's not really my thing, however have you heard ___?" Just let the conversation flow, you're allowed your own views too

just ask if you can see what songs they have. *gives you ipod* if there is nothing you like just give it back. problem solved.
