Ok so, Over the past 4/5 months my voice has been taking random squeeks when I have been talking or shouting and my friends have said its alot deeper since a year ago. Is this my voice breaking ? If so, how long until its completely broke ?
P.S There is also a slight croak that I hear when I talk.

Yep, your balls have dropped. Its not easy to say when it'll be finished, it can vary depending on the person. Mines been breaking for the last 3 years on and off whereas some guys only take a few months.

It sounds likely your voice is beginning to change, yep! You're at the prime age for that sort of development to happen, as well. As Desolation points out, the way in which our voices break can vary dramatically from instantaneously over night to several months or years. Be patient and enjoy your new, husky voice in the mean time!
PS: Your balls drop at birth, ignore Desolation. :P

All of us have gone through what you are going through right now, and I would not feel bad. If anyone makes fun of you due to your croaks or squeeks, then they are just ignorant plain and simple. Nearly every guy has had the same thing happen to them in terms of voice change, and it really is not a big deal. Remember in puberty everyone is going through changes through which they might be embarrassed, and they might make fun of you to distract attention from themselves. Basically, you are fine, and this issue is a really short-term thing. Don't be embarassed about your voice or what it is doing as at least your voice is changing.

Nothing to be embarrassed about, it happens to everybody. Dont worry ive been goin through that too and all the other teens in the world so theres nothing to worry about. just let pubery take its course and your voice will be normal and deeper tone in anytime

It may be, or actually, it definitely is. Your voice can go through breaks for a long time, and it'll stop when it stops. The reason behind this break is because your larynx and vocal cords are growing, and the breaks are just your body's way of coping with it. The best thing to do is to just laugh it off, because face it, it's hilarious. I'm 17, and mine still breaks, and everytime it does, I actually go out of my way to draw attention to it, because it's actually pretty funny! And you'll find once YOU do it, other people won't think it's that big of a deal, because you're taking all the pressure off of yourself. :)
