On Monday I had begun to get sick with a really bad headache and a terrible cold. (the first time I've been sick in two and a half years)
Once my family found out about my sickness, they were all like, "Haha that's awesome!" or, "Hahaha that's great!"
Then when I mentioned that because of it I wasn't going to be able to hang out with a friend that I rarely get to see all anyone said was, "so what," "too bad," or, "I don't care."
Then I was like, "So you think it's a good thing that I'm sick and that I'm going to miss out on hanging out with my friend?"
Then they said, "Yeah. It's really funny."
I just stood there.. like, what the heck?? wow..

I'm glad my family takes pleasure in my misfortune...

Yeah, it was my entire family saying that..
Staying far away from them might be hard seeing as though I have to live with them and see them every day.

Yeah, I was only thinking that it might teach them that what they are doing is wrong. Sometimes people can't see the other side of things till it happens to them. If you feel it would cheapen you, don't do it.
