Lip Piercing?

How would I go about getting a lip piercing similar to the one in the linked photo? Also i know i shouldnt start with one that heavy, i was planning on starting with 2 studs. Also, how much would it hurt this will be my first piercing and i was wondering.

Go to a shop. Make sure they're reliable. I'd say start with studs. I just got the other side of my lip done and I changed them both to studs. It's all about your pain tolerance. It doesn't hurt me at all but I have over 5 piercings. When I first got my lip done it was sorta painful but not too bad.

Thanks, but where could I find those types of shops? All we have in our town is a 'Claire's' and i know for sure they dont do lip piercings :P
I have quite a high pain threshold, so Im less aprehensive now.

Tattoo shops do piercings. Don't go to a grungy type of shop. Look for places where it looks clean, sterilized. Lol. If you have any friends with tattoos or facial piercings ask where they went.
