my little brother is 6 years old and i was waiting outside his school to get him and our mom was in our truck in the parking lot waiting for us when he came outside he ran over to my and one of the moms said my little boy is so cute and looks like me and i laughed and said he was my little brother and she said sure he is and walked away i mean peolpe say i look older then 15 but i never thought i looked old enough to have a 6 year old kid and my brother and i dont even look that much alike we both have brown eyes like our mom and he has red hair and i have brown hair and i was just wondering if anyone thinks this is weird that people think i am his mom

To be honest.. I don't find that weird at all. Most people now just assume when you see a teenager with a kid it must be theirs. That's really how it's seen here anyway. I wouldn't worry about it Autumn, people really shouldn't assume or at least ask before hand.

You're 15 and they think you have a 6 year old child, maybe they didnt stop to do the maths. You should just laugh about it really.

Lol that is funny, but a similar thing happened to me..I was at the beach with my family and I had taken my 2 little bros out into the water, and this was a year ago so I was like 15, and this lady walked up, started making conversation with me and then asked if they were my kids! I was like "Um I'm 15. They're my freaking brothers." I felt so awkward.

I think the lady who said you are your brother's mother doesn't know maths and can't find a difference between a 15 year old and a 25 year old.

Yes, society likes to judge. It's really a sad fact, and some people are so full of prejudice that situations like this can occur.

i agree, most people just see you with a kid and say, "hey, i bet she got pregnant", thats just the way it is nowadays. dont worry about it though, once they find out you're 15, they'll do the math.

Girls are getting pregnant earlier and earlier. A 16 year old with a 6 year old kid isn't impossible or even unheard of. Its unfortunate but it happens.
