My TV in my room has freeview built into it, but when i connect the aerial lead into the TV, then into the wall socket, which leads to the satelite dish, i still dont get a signal. Can anyone help please?

Ok, im not sure about Freeview in the UK, but i have it at my house in australia, and we dont use a sat. dish for it, We use a standard antenna, pictured below

Lol. Sometimes with the 'free-view' you might need to change antenna to pick up the new signal.
Again, not sure cause I'm an aussie too :D

not really, every house in Britain that wants freeview will have to get one of these. i have one for all of our freeview and a sattelite for Sky tv. u have to get a connection lead from the attenae, drill a hole through your wall and feed the lead through to your tv/freeview box. that's why you weren't getting a signal mate.
