Personally im into power metal or traditional metal as you might have it, i like some nu metal like system of a down, some of my favourite bands are metallica, red hot chilli peppers, jimmi hendrix, Rammstein, Rage Against the Machine. Also i like some Joe Satriani.

Have u ever noticed when a metal band produces a pop song...it gets big???

one band for instance is Hoobastank...there song the reason
Limp Biskit is metal and they go with a cover of behind blue eyes....it gets big

Ever heard of Three Days Grace? I just found them on the net and they are amazing. Find them on threedaysgrace.com (www.threedaysgrace.com) it's something awsome.

I'm more into the nu metals, even the shouty ones. Infact, especialy the shouty ones, it's a good way to let off steam :) System of a Down are really good, but I havn't heard them in a while.

Slipknot has completely lost my respect. They changed their whole sound, their whole personality so they can get played on the radio. I liked their old stuff, but this new album makes me want to just beat the shit out of them all.

I agree with what you said about KoRn their new albums are shit i will only listen to the old stuff, but slipknot nah! the new stuff is good i like the old stuff more but Vol 3 is a good album wether its commercialised or not
