so i'm sick with the common old... i beleive.. throat is sore... hurts a lot... i gots the sniffles and i'm achy :( anyway to get rid of it fast or make me feel better because advil doen'st help it... dones't make it og away :( i'mgoing toa party tomorrow and would loveeee to get rid of it or feel better... i know its impossible... but nay help would be amazing..

If you don't have time to go to a doctor, over the counter cold remedies (if used not like you're completely ignorant) could help alleviate the symptoms. However, if you do think you're starting to get sick and visit with the doctor never hurts. You don't happen to have a fever do you? or chills?

i have chills no fever... well had chils they are pretty much gone just achy... :(
my parents won't take me to the doctor because my dad is a docter and won't take me unless i'm dying.. .and thinks i'm fine until i'm dying... i have this problem when i've broken my arm in the past, he wouldnt' get it x rayed until like a week after it was still swollen and i was complaining about it cause it hurt a lot

I was told this today by a doctor, and by the doctor I work for: there's no quick cure. You have to let nature take it's course, and you can only lessen the symptoms by taking paracetamol or similar for whatever symptoms you have. It's best to just rest for a few days, and let it pass. Drink plenty of water and don't let yourself get cold. Keep yourself well wrapped up if you go outside, and you should only do so if absolutely necessary. Just let nature take it's course and it'll be gone in a few days. Unfortunately there's no quick fix, if there were the pharmaceutical companies would have a field day.
