In high-school it was simply English and French but I also traveled to places such as Quebec so I had to learn more French. I learned some German at home as part of my family is German and I like to try to learn to speak and understand it but never got any formal learning in it. In university, just 1 course in English and I never want any others. I learned some Latin not formally but rather in certain anatomy courses, we had to learn what certain words meant.

My father is also pretty interested in Japanese so I get exposed to some also but so far for him it's only speaking Japanese.

Mi speaketh duh Eengrish.

Y un poco Espanol.

I really want to take language classes,
But I placed above anything the community college had for Spanish.
I wanted to take French, but they cut it.
Once I go to an actual university, I want to go further into Spanish, then learn French, German and Japanese.

In the gradeschool I went to they force Spanish on you, one class a week. We never learned anything new though, they pretty much teach the same thing in the 2nd grade as 8th grade. In my High School, you have to take 2 years of a foreign language. I'm in my second year of Spanish and after this I am done.

I speak English, and Irish/Gaeilge (unfortunately, hate it) and study both in school.

I already answered this in the college thread, but I studied Spanish for 4 years in high school and I'm majoring in it in college. Also have to take 12 credits of a second language, probably Russian or perhaps Italian.
