i don't mean to affend anyone on my opinion of war... if you don't like it then please odn't read it... it's my opinion... you have yours so don't trash mine.. if you don't like how i worded something i'm sorry... but my opinion...
this does not mean i hate people who fight for their country!! i support them 100% i do not htink they are horrible eople and i don't thnk thy are going to hell, im thankful thye are keeping us safe, however i just see fighitng as senseles which was the point of my poem...
yes im aware war can sometimes be neccessary... but i'm not goign into an arugment... i jsut wated to put a poem on my opnion of war so no negative feedback unless it has to do with whatcan be improved with my peom thank you
a flash of light a large combustion
hearing screams of the fallen in the black of night
daylight brings site of all the bloody corpses in the sand
Emotionless faces filled with fear left in the light
the stentch of my fellow members fallen all over the land
crawlign on the corpeses we msut press on
we must leave our friends behind
its hard to know that thye are gone.
but we are still together by our bind
our contract to serve our leader
how can he make decisions if he doen'st see what we see?
he doens't see the stonless faces
the men coming back from the war mangaled.
He doesn't know the truth, the full story as i do.
but we must press on
we must continue sensless killing for a better world
because i am told senseless killing will save our world,
somehow killing innocents and forcing knowledge on people will save us all
because i'm sure God will agree to that.
as Buddha once said there is no way to peace,
Peace is the way
so throw down your weapon son,
turn and face you enemy
not hidiing like a coward with a weapon
face to face
embracing and loving the one you hate.
