Ideas for haircut/styling/whatever

So I wanna get my haircut on Sunday after my guitar lesson (when I say this I mean styled and slightly trimmed and thinned) but I'm not sure what to get, so I'm asking for help. Pictures would be helpful. Oh yea, I want bangs and layers. And I don't want it cut too short. Look at my hair in my avatar/profile pic and get ideas from that. My hair isn't THAT long. +Rep for good ideas. Thanks ;)

Well, you want to shorten down your hair.

I used to have long hair, even more than yours. Then I decided to shorten it.

My usual styles for very Short hair are Marinze and Caesar; bowl Spock hairstyle.

But for a normal cut, I will just make a gradation for my hair. Thicker on top, while it get lesser as it goes down.

For a normal cut. A thicker will be the head and thinner on the side. This is great for my side brush-fohawks. You might see the hair in the middle, but the rest of the hair are leaning to the tower(Spike+Fohawk).

Something like this almost like this for a short-haired guy.

In your case, I'd say leave it. It is great in that way.

So basically just get it trimmed? Fair enough. I might get it thinned a bit as well, it's a bit thick atm.
