You know already if we eat more calories than our body can burn we gain weight.
It's true that certain foods will boost your metabolism but only if you eat them as a part of a effective diet and weight loss programme.
Fat burning foods.
Fat burning food #1: Apples:
Do you remember the old saying "An apple a day keeps the doctor away".
Well not only a doctor but also the extra pounds as well.
Apples contain the highest percentage of pectin, this is a soluble fiber.
There was an interesting study in Brazil about weight loss and apples .
2 groups of dieters were getting exactly the same amount of calories but with one exception.
One group was getting an apple before each meal. And this group lost 33% more in weight.

I've cut off dairy, and it's helped me trim a little bit of fat that I did have. People will say about how you need dairy, due to calcium intake amongst other vitamin/mineral needs. Taking a multi vitamin, or even a calcium supplement too plus eating a well balanced diet won't affect that. I did drop fat though like I said. Oats were eaten with water in the morning for porridge/oatmeal, protein shakes with water, I stopped drinking tea/milk/etc. It's not that hard and it's good when you get used to it.

I completely cut off the sweets because of the saturated fat. Dairy is unessential unless its just milk in my perspective. I eat fruits salads and vegetables. Protein shakes before i work out because that also helps build musscle.

not really this is more or less the exact same as me:P as long as your keeping an effeciant excercising schedule and not going completly over board with your weekend gorge (e.g. McDonalds breakfast, lunch and dinner) u should be fine. keeping exercise to the weekdays can be bad though only exercising weedays means there's 48 hours of rest which can be too much 24 hours is addequate. my trainer keeps trying to get me in on Sundays but i'm like no bugger off i want sleep lol

Not to be pedantic, but these aren't really "fat burning" foods. Most are just foods with a lower calorie content per amount, so that you feel more full with less calories. That especially applies to things with lots of fiber. Compounds within green tea have been shown to promote fat burning, so that might be the only thing on the list that really qualifies.
