Well this is essentially two threads smushed into one:

First. My parents aren't really the type who are open to the whole "child growing up" thing, and as such the topic of masturbation, etc. hasn't come up yet. But I want to experiment with lubes that I can get without them knowing that I need it as a lube. Any suggestions?

Second. Last night, I slept in just my boxers for the first time, and I couldn't sleep too well last night. Any suggestions for falling asleep easier and making my sleep more ... peaceful?

Thanks :)

1) You can find things around the house to use as lube, like lotions, body washes, but i prefer petrolium jelly.

2) Theres a natural drug called melatonin, its whats in milk and turkey. it helps you fall asleep easily without any active ingredients.

hope i helped

1. Try and approach your dad about it. If he doesn't want to say anything, tell him you are very intrested in becoming a man and am wanting to know about masturbation.

2. I think it takes some getting used to when sleeping in boxers/boxer briefs/any underwear for the first time. i was nervous my penis would be poking out of the boxer hole when i woke up almost every morning when i wore boxers, so it was difficult at first. Now with my discovery of boxer briefs, i dont worry about that and am much more comfortable.

Well, for the lube there's no rules that say you can't buy any yourself. But if you want to be discreet about it, use things like Baby oil, Vaseline and skin moisturiser. As for the sleep there are quite a few things you can do. Try being more active during the day time to ensure the possibility of sleeping well during the night. Drink hot drinks, and try not to go to sleep feeling down or angry, I find that just aggravates my sleeping pattern more.

How old are you? You might try talking with an older or perhaps more advanced friend or or relative and try looking at some of the jack off or masturbation sites--they gave me a bunch of good ideas. I use baby oil sometimes but anything slick works really well for me. I don't think talking with your dad is a good idea unless he brings it up.

1. If you have a shelf, hide it behind some books/boxes, then just slide it out when you need it. The problem with that, though, is that your parents might decide to 'clean out your room' and find it. You could probably try using an empty roll-on deoderant can.

2. I had that problem, too :) When I first tried wearing boxers, I'd get really horny and had trouble going to sleep. After a while you get used to it, so you hardly notice.

1. There isnt any age limit on buying lube/condoms. So if you goto walmart just buy some when they arent around you and put it in your pocket.

2. I dont sleep good in just my boxers either. If it is too uncomfortable, just put back on your clothes.

1. Theres stuff you can get at the store, hand lotion, babyoil (although the smell can be strong so u can get mineral oil which is scentless (babyoil is just mineral oil with that babypowder scent added), or if daring actual lubes. Also everyday household stuff like cooking oil or even just spit.

2. I agree with above, maybe it just feels new to you and thats why u cant sleep.......jerking can tire you out, so maybe do that before bed, or you can also take something like benadryl which usually makes u drowsy, i've had to use that before when i was overtired and couldnt settle down to sleep.

I know that there's no age limit to buying lube, but hiding it can be a real issue, plus getting a lift to Wal-Mart, since I can't yet drive.

Also, last night I slept pretty well, so I guess it was just a matter of getting used to.

Thanks for your suggestions, guys. :)
