I had split up with my girlfriend over 1-2 weeks ago now, And my best mate has just split up with his.
The thing is, My bestmate and my now ex used to go out too, I know he likes my ex.
But I also really like HIS ex...
We flirt abit, You know the usual. Text day and night.
I really like her but I feel if I was to go out with her, I'd be betraying my best mate?
What should I do? :confused:

I think that you should wait for things to cool down. Losing a friend is a very hard thing i wouldn't take any risks. Now if he says its okay If you decide to ask if you can i think that would be safer. Hope this helps

Well, you said they used to go out? What did he feel when you both began going out in the first place. Is he the type you could talk to about it? I don't think you'd be betraying him personally, especially if he has feelings for your ex which could also amount into a relationship. Talk to him about it if possible, or testing the waters and dropping hints might be a decent idea

That's the thing, I've known him for so long, I wouldn't want to ruin our friendship over a girl.
And yeah, I think he likes her, But I'm not sure she likes him.
I think she knows I like her, I make it obvious enough.
I'm surprised he hasn't noticed to be honest.
