Sylosis. Their new album, Edge of the Earth, is the best metal album of the past 20 or so years. Seriously. It's simply incredible, epic at times, the quality of the playing is phenomenal, especially the guitars (their solos are insane at times). They manage to sound as heavy as a lot of bands even though they tune their guitars to E Standard. It's quite technical (even if they don't want to be labelled as a technical band) as well. It's like melodic death metal mixed with thrash, if you were wondering. Yet another quality metal band from the UK...

What are you even saying? The last two albums aren't screamo, lulz. Sure, vocals are being yelled out, but all because someone yells in the songs doesn't mean it's screamo. The screamo genre is way different than what Brand New brings to the table. See, Brand New's last two albums are allot more creative and differ from the typical strong structures from the first two albums. That also means there's no way they could go mainstream because no current mainstream artists actually go creative with song structure.

I really don't think you get what they're putting out with the past two albums, because they're noted to be some of the most creative indie albums ever made. If anything, it's the first two albums that were defined into the 'emo post hardcore' genre, so you've got it all mixed up bud.
