My mother is really annoying me.

She always tells me to take a shower. I already know to take a shower. I'm 14 she doesn't need to remind me every single day. It's like my words go in one ear and come out the next. I know to take a shower. Oh, no I love being dirty and smelling like a rotten skunk so I'm never taking a shower again! I'm sure she would get annoyed if I said to her everyday, "Mom, take a shower"

Heh my mom used to do that to me, sometimes within the same day that I already took one, only now she never leaves the house and I do so the situation got reversed and it makes me smile :)

I would do it before she says it to avoid the whole thing. Do something she doesn't expect and she will leave you alone.

To get her to stop, actually tell her. Dont say "okay i know!!!"

Say: "Mom, i appreciate how you try to remind me to take a shower, but im 14. I KNOW when to take a shower. So i dont need you reminding me anymore, Okay?"
