Yeah, but how much would you roughly get for a PS2?
And also do PS3's raise the electric bill alot?

On GameStop they are selling used PS2s for 70 dollars so in order to make a profit it would be much less than that returned to you. I would call them and ask them.

No slim PS3 will play PS2 games, only the 40, 60, and original 80GB will play them. All PS3s though will play PS1 games.

The 40gb and 80gb 4USB will also play PS2 games. You can also put any laptop hard drive in the PS3, 80GB laptop hard drives shouldnt be more than about $60.

Some 80 and 40 gb ps3's have limited backward compatibility but only the 60 gb has full compatibility.
Why do Sony have to make things so confusing:mad:

If you want to play PS1 and PS2 games on the Ps3 you will have to get the 80G hrdrive because it has internal system for them. As for trading in your PS2 you won't get more then $50 if that. I think the 80G is like $250-300 I think Gamestop will have your answers. I hope this helps
