Extremely sore breasts/nipples? :(

Over the past few months I've been noticing that the part of my breast near my nipples has been very sore/tender. It stays sore even when I'm not on my period, so I know that's not the reason. I'm not pregnant, so that can't be it, and I honestly don't know why else they could be so sore. It almost feels like the same pain I had when I was 12 and they started growing, but would they really be growing again at 16? I doubt it...but can someone please help me? I don't know what to do..they really hurt. =( Thanks.

Actually, it is still growing pains. You'll get them from time to time until puberty's finished with. There is things you can do though to help the pains; wear a good, supportive bra, but not an underwired bra. If you think it may be more serious than just growing, get yourself checked out.

Just like the other girls have said you are probably still going through puberty and therefore your boobs could still easily be developing.

You can also have a growth spurt after puberty as well, where you may well find your boobs could become even bigger.

But in the meantime if you have any doubts or concerns at all, then have yourself check out by a doctor.
