It's most likely something with him, not you. He may feel embarrassed or ashamed of what you two were doing since sex is very taboo in society. There was nothing wrong with your experimenting as long as you were playing it safe though. I wouldn't get too hung up on it, it's not worth the negative feelings. If he wants to stop this sort of contact, then it's better just to stop, especially if he's uncomfortable with it now.

I agree with Steph,
People change through time, something could've happened to him at home, at school, anywhere. But, a person's choice is a person's choice. If he doesn't want to any more, then be patient, maybe another day or another week. Give it time.
You can't force someone into doing something with you... well, you can, but morally it's not right.
It's a matter of just talking to him about it, only he can tell you what's going through his mind. (: Try not to get too hung up on it.
