Worried about friend

I'm worried for my friend. He wasn't in school today and apparently his mum is worried as he left home and isn't returning her calls, didn't say he was going to her. His parents split in Year 7 and it had a bad affect on him, he's been kind of rebelling since then like not doing coursework, getting threatened with suspension by my absolute cun.t of an RE teacher for saying the prayer fast then really slow in registration (see what religion does to people...). I don't know what he is doing or where he is. I feel bad as I maybe don't speak to him quite as much as I would like to. Help please, I can't do much but I want to know he is ok or something.

caring about your friend is not overreacting, the exact opposite... by what you said, he needs you

You don't talk to him as much as you want to? well, it's up to you to change that... a simple bit of support and help could go a long ways, specially since as you said, he is going through a had time, and didn't take it very well...
