1980's

I listen to a lot of 1980's pop. I know it's not very popular now, but i really like it. I grew up on it as a kid. What are some of your favorite 1980's bands and if you want tell us what you liked about the song or band itself?

Right now my favorite is A Flock of Seagulls They had quite a few really good hit in the early to mid 80's. the guitar and synth really catch me into the song. I also look at the hair style and i go wow the 80's were quite the experimental age.

I like 80s, 90s, and late 70s music alot. Queen, Journey, Bon Jovi <3, andn Bee Gees are some of my favorites.

DUDE omg COULDN'T GET AWAY. Wow man I'm impressed well done boy George is good. I was listen to my satellite radio and what a hidden gem came on it was by Oingo Boingo They did the song Weird Science and was actually part of the sound track in the movie.

BTW, If you want to meet Boy George go to New York State Park. He picks up trash there..I believe he still does anyway..I know he did in '02. He was a coke head! =D

Poison was more mid to late 80's even into the 90's "Every rose has it's thorn" was my favorite song of theirs. They were part of the "Hair bands" of the 80's like Ratt Aerosmith and so on. Yeah man Cocaine was the drug that really fucked up any musician career.

HAHA word.. You have to look in the past and realize that a lot of musician's are following the sex drugs and rock and roll life style so they have a bumpy life style so to speak. Wealth just isn't for everyone, neither is fame.

Lucky you, I saw them early this February! They're playing the best they have in years, IMO. Jon's voice just gets better and better every tour :)
