Yes, I used to play and have a level 114 account that is still active. I play a lot less now due to issues with my phone/ISP, but it does eat into your time a lot. Plus RuneScape taught me a lot of valuable lessons (mostly in economics), such as opportunity cost, the monetary value of time, it all gets pretty complex.

When I was younger I spent all day, every day playing it. The game sort of becomes boring and pointless when you are older.

The game really has that attachment factor that grows onto you as you're new. By the time you're more experienced, you're still attached to the game, but for completely different reasons. Quite unique IMHO.

I played because my friends played it. It, in my opinion, is dumb. The graphics are terrible, gameplay is clicking a million times to get to a different building, and everything is so unrealistic, even though it's based way back when I doubt that's what it was like.

I was at level 23 or something when I stopped. I tried playing a little while ago, no.

Then I stopped for a few years, I'm back to playing every few days when I get bored.
