I am overweight, I dont think im that attractive, have low self confidence, Im not very funny, I dont have many friends, ans i am VERY SHY. I asked out this girl I like and she said yes. We went on a date but it turned out she thought of it as me being friendly because we are friends. I was kind of disapointed but if i continue to "date" her as friends she might start to take a liking to me. What can I do to make myself more attractive to girls?

I agree. Confidence is a important key to being in a good relantionship. Don't be so confident that you become conceded, tho.

yess confidence works alot. but u know what, some of the girls even like shy ones. so don't u change urself overmuch, try to be multifarious, and the most importent - be a man. women like strong ones, so she's gotta feel u're a man and u're strong ;)

Dude, don't worry, like I posted in another topic, just write on a paper what you like and what you dont like, and we can say that you just wrote your personality in that paper, that means that you love who you are, you love the things you do and nobody is going to change it, and someday you'll find someone who likes the same things.
So show her what you like and if she does not like it, she isn't compatible with you :) so you wont be happy with her
