i have never loved anyone else like this never felt anything like this before in my whole life... he wanted a break... it's all very complicated those I PMed about ths before knwo my feelings and what happened in relationship. I odn't think i'll ever get over him... :( anyways he says he doens't bleive in love now... says its just all chemicals in the brain, and it doesn't exsist... this means the things he said like i love you, eveyrthing was a lie...? i don't know i'm rather hurt a lot by this.... what do you guys think of love?

I think there is such a thing as love, if there wasn't you wouldnt feek things for other people. He is obviously just being daft, dont listen to him when he says "love is fake" because I think it isn't.

Love is not fake. These chemicals he speaks of are simply the explaination of how, not what. There is nothing wrong with that, whether it's some energy, some chemical, or some love fairy gnome with a pointy hat and a cup cake wand (heh heh), who care's? It's still love. In our phsyical world (whether you believe in a higher power or not, personally I do), it has to happen somehow, there has to be something that caused it, does it make the feeling or the meaning of it any less just because you know the technical things that causes it?

Is a river any less pleasant just because you know the only reason it flows is because of the gravitational force of the Earth pulling all that liquid from higher places to lower? Are the mountains any less beautiful just because you know they formed because of pressure between chunks of land mass under the ground pushing against each other and forcing some up out of the ground?

To all this I just say "So? That's what makes the magic work then. Does it really change anything about how you enjoy it or make it any less meaningful? That's just what makes it happen, not what it is."

“Love isn’t a decision. It’s a feeling. If we could decide who we loved, it would be much simpler, but much less magical.”

Love is beautiful, but the problem is that people confuse love with sex or atraction.
I think that the only think you can do is forget him, and continue living your life like a normal person, your boyfriend or girlfriend should be your best friend as well.
