Ok,
I bought a Dazzle DVC 100 Capture card. On the preview screen, I can hear the sound, but there's no images.

I've checked all the wiring and there doesn't seem to be anything wrong, any ideas?

change the settings to ntsc or pal

Where are you capturing from? Are the audio video cables hooked up right?

Yeah, I found that too just now. I've got the AmCap program and that both shows it and puts it into colour with the right settings, here's another problem though... It stays in colour whilst it's previewing, when I try to record it just reverts back to black and white.

I did say I'd checked the wiring.

then go down to my quicklaunch and hit amcap
then amcap laods i hit alt f4 to close it then record
then once the game ends i stop it and go to the save file for it if i want to keep it i move the file to a new folder and then start again

So does that cause it to record in colour?

Hmm, I wonder why it didn't work for me then.
Well. I didn't close AmCap after I changed the settings, that might have something to do with it.

Edit: Ok, I've fixed the colour thing and it works great.

^ totally unedited and normal.

Now I just need to know some good editing software, that is simple to use - free to use/download for more than a trial period.
