Hey everyone!!! I'm new here! I'm Annie, I'm 15, and have had an eating disorder for a few years now, mostly anorexia but also compulsive exercise I guess if you count that as a disorder! I guess I'm really just looking for some support and for some people i can relate to. I feel so alone with it sometimes! Sooo see you guys around! I hope i can make some new friends here :)

hello Annie welcome to Virtual Teen. I suffer from anoerxia, and i over exercise, i also make myself throw up sometimes too, so you are not alone :D PM me anytime you want to talk or anything at all, questions, et.c

Hello, and welcome to Virtual Teen. I suffer from anorexia and i know what your going through just know that your not alone and you have support and help and advice to heed here. Wow, i feel like the odd one out here... I'm new too and i'm hoping that i can find some comfort here. I'm 18 and I'm a non purging bulimic. If anyone wants to talk feel free to PM me <3

Hi Annie,

Welcome. =] On VT you will find many people who have shared in similar experiences, and often they will happily give advice on how to cope etc.

These forums are a great place for support.

I'm Aimee.

You're not alone.

& yes, compulsive exercising is considered a form of an ED.

I first developed Binge Eating Disorder when I was about 11, roughly a year later, I developed Bulimia, & then 1-2 year(s) later, I then developed Anorexia.

From then on, I struggled severely with both Bulimia & Anorexia, but more so Anorexia Purging Type as I didn't binge, but I did purge. (or what is considered a binge in Bulimia)

I'm now in Recovery from all 3, but I am relapsing with the Anorexia, & I have recently also purged for the first time in months, so a bit of both relapsing.

So, as you can see, you're not alone in struggling with ED's & I'm here for you if you'd like to chat.
