I wept a little when I read this (http://news.ninemsn.com.au/world/1027126/pregnant-bride-killed-in-crash-on-way-to-wedding). :(

It's unfortunate. But it's simply what happens in every day life. I do quite love the fact, she thanked the 'lord' earlier this month.

they're working on technology to improve survival chances but even with new tech that tailors the seatbelt restraints, airbag deployment, etc to the individual crash and the weight of the passenger, even tho Ford has seat-belts now that have an airbag directly in them expanding them across your chest in a collision, even tho companies like lexus have tech that can automatically slow down and in some cases completely stop the vehicle automatically if it senses an imminent collision, even tho many companies such as BMW have thermal or infared vision built into some of there vehicles to improve vision and increase the reaction time, the fact is driving remains one of the most dangerous modes of transportation options out there.
Unfortunately they can't defy physics, small cars don't do well against trucks
My cousin was crushed between two semis in only a tiny 1/4 ton truck
Its horrible that this happened
But they weren't the first
and they won't be the last
already it wouldn't surprise me if there's a few dozen more ATLEAST since the article was posted
I've had many close calls
and flat out been in a few
including being hit by an impaired driver
Driving isn't respected nearly as much as it should be
your traveling at incredible speeds in a tin can
and theres still all these idiots out there doing crap like shaving their vagina while driving
jesus
