So I've worn woman's panties on and off for 4 years around the house, but never in public.. but today i wanted to wear my thong so i wouldn't have lines in my skinny jeans, and i told my girlfriend thinking i would be safe in confiding to her. Now my girlfriend thinks I'm weird and a freak for it. To be honest, I just like the support, freedom, style, comfort, and the feeling of doing what I want, because I want to. But she doesn't seem to want to support me. Should I stop what I'm doing? Anyone have advice how to convince her it's okay? Or any other non-bashing comments?

Ok men wearing thongs or panties is not a new concept and i dont find anything wrong or weird about it. Some guys just prefer it. And like zeldas121212 said some women like to wear boxers, I know i have before. I mean they make panties to look and feel like guys undergarments purposefully, for instance boy shorts. Wayne Brady showed off his g-string on 'who's line is it anyways?' and he's still considered 'normal' by socialists standards. I see no reason for you to have to stop doing what you like or what makes you comfortable for her. The point of being in a relationship is learning to except and live with the habits of another person. There will always be compromise on either side of a relationship, she just needs to understand your positions. Quite frankly I find it admirable that you would be strong willed enough to speak of it freely to her and that if I were her I would respect your honesty.

Ignoring the dumb blonde... Cross dressing is normal for many people and if she's your girlfriend she should be able to accept that. I don't have any advice on how to explain it to her other than to tell her why you do it.

As people have said above me, if its all right for girls to wear our boxers, what's wrong with you wearing something you feel comfortable in? You're certainly not weird for having your own style and comfort. If she loves you, she needs to learn to accept you for who you are, everyone has their own quirks. As the saying goes, Each to their own. Sit her down and explain the reason you wear them, and ask her if she accepts that reason. I can probably bet 9/10 she has done something equally as 'weird' in the past, Although each persons sense of what is 'normal' and what is 'weird' varies greatly. This is a really good point. I mean if my boyfriend told me this I would be shocked but she shouldn't call you a freak. Its your choice, and it shouldn't be any different from the girls wearing boxers thing. If she truly cares about you she will get over the initial shock and accept it. xx

i've actually worn guy underwear that is made like girl panties. i find them a little uncomfortable myself, but if you like to wear them i don't see the problem.

just tell your girl you like how they fit, and you think they're comfortable. if she truly cares for you, she wont care that you wear girl underwear.

Wear what you feel you want to wear. Tell her that it is your choice to wear them and why you wear them, she may just feel uncomfortable because she thinks that only gay people wear girls underwear. I agree on the comfort issue by the way :D

So make the call on whether you want to risk having lines in your skinny jeans or looking like less of a man to your girlfriend. If you're comfortable with your manhood and want to wear a thong, then go for it. But if not, you might reconsider it, especially if your girlfriend decides to judge you for it.
