a poem on sexual abuse

[Asylum]

broken


you left me broken, motionless on the ground
i was so confused and scared i didn't make a sound
you were my friend
i thought you were a God send.
when all i had was nothing you were someone i had that cared
now whenever i see you i jsut get scared
scared that the abuse will jsut return
no matter what i do, cut, bite, burn
it doesn't take the feeling away
now there is nothign left to say
you left me feeling dirty and used
remeber your face and the day i was abused
the flashbacks will haunt me until the day i die,
i wish i could just say to you and the memory goodbye
things you have both said and done
will never be redone
what is done is done
and now jsut a memory
