Unfortunate and repulsive body hair

Ok, does anyone know if there is an age that body hair reaches a point where it stops growing? Or what is the hormone or chemical that signals body hair to grow and can i stop it with treatments and such? Or, which removal technique is the best?


I hate my body hair and it is annoying esp. in gym class. I hate changing in front of people because I am self conscience of my body hair... The only parts I like are my chest hair, legs, pubic.... The others (abs, ass, back, shoulders, arms) i am not a fan of..... If anyone has the same problem... we shoudl consult.. hahahahaha

huh. well, i hate body hair as well. but i go a bit more than you do. the only places i like hair is on the top of my head, and on my arms. all other hair that is on my body is shaved off.

i have same problem. its always gonna grow back. you just gotta manage it often

consult a dermatologist for the best advice. you can shave or wax for removal. you can use hormones to stop it. like i said, consult the dermatologist.

Well hair grows at different rates for everyone. I would just say shave off or use some hair removal cream for the parts u don't want.

Well, according to my point of view (and I have said this in many posts) every body is different, so every change that it experiments too. I mean, there is a range where this changes occurs, but it is not necessarily an specific age. Each of the cases is different and, believe me, you must love your growth and your body, because in that way, you can feel cool with it XD

It'll stop actively growing in new places when you reach the end of puberty. Other than that, it will grow forever unless you do something cosmetic to stop it.

The only place i wouldn't like hair is on my back and luckily i don't have any there (yet :S) but if you cut or shave your hair it just grows back faster with more there

Just shave it, you might get a bit of teaseing for shaving your arms but hey its up to you. But it does grow back quicker so you'd have to keep on top of it or learn to accept it

Hey man...I have the same thing.. and I know it can seem annoying and not cool but give it some time,,,it will grow on you( figuratively and literally) I thought girls didn't like it and that they all only like smooth boys. But man I'm telling' you as you grow you'll be fine with it. I used to not like it and now I do. And I found a ton of girls that actually are fine with it and some girls like it. But man its your decision and do what will make u happy. U only have one life so live it.

u cant "kill" hair, its like grass, it grows back. just be proud of who u are, girls find hair attractive.....i think
