hi i am jojo1282 as u can see but when i was a kid i got cuaght in the head with a tree and i wasn't alllowed to cry becuase my dad said he would hurt me wourse do you think i should have beeen abled to cry

Yes I think you should have been allowed to cry. It's a natural human reaction to shock and pain and I've always thought it wrong to stop people from crying (in most cases anyway). It's always good to feel your emotions like that.

As for him threatening you, that was completely out of line. No parent should ever hurt any child. It's just wrong. I'm glad he didn't hit you.

You know what... I have to say... parents who grew up in like the 50s and 60s kinda have that way of thinking. i dont think he meant it.... but if he later on physically abused you then that is wrong.

Crying is normal and should not be condemned - at very least where it's appropriate.
