Volunteering

anyone here volunteer? I volunteer at a retirement community center. I just work at an office and do filing and cutting out checks and putting stuff in envelopes not much.

last summer I worked at the library (for a book thing)

Every Monday morning I feed homeless people at my church. :)

Whenever any events come up that i hear about i do them. i've helped to look after kids with down syndrome. i've collected for all the charitys around. i did the fast this year as well. i always go on the charity walk every year. i volunteered dancing with old people for a programme it made them so happy. i help teach some of the very young foreign children in my town english. only a few though

i also help to teach basic first aid with the red cross and am a voluntary member

I do try whenever I can. I used to volunteer with my Aunt for the Irish Heart Children Organisation, for children with CHDs (Compex Heart Diseases) but not anymore. I also fast for 24 or more hours, and do a lot of stuff in church for the Saint Vincent de Paul.

I used to help out the custodians at my school to gain community service hours at my school. Volunteering is a very beneficial thing it builds humility and in some cases shows you how much you can help someone.

I volunteer at the Information Desk at the hospital closest to me. :)

I dont right now but iam thinking of volentering for a fire department soon.
