Ok so this is what I did for and open coffee house today after school, we did it for the GSA and well I said it and all

Some would shun me, and have,
For my lifestyle choice...
To love another woman is taboo
In the eyes of many, if not most.
But are their judgements valid
When they just don’t know,
Don’t understand, or even care to try?
They pass judgement with their eyes,
Heart closed, mind set in their ways.
Always following what society deems right,
Listening to the church, friends, and family,
But never searching within themselves,
Never choosing for themselves.
If they did look inside, what would they find?
If they stopped listening to everyone else,
And began listening to their own hearts,
How much would their thoughts and ideas change?
Before you judge me - try walking in my shoes...
I’ve made my choice from experience,
From following my heart,
Listening to it alone.
And knowing that I’ve found my soul mate -
Even if society says it can’t be right.
I’ve walked both paths,
Experienced both sides of the road.
Have you?
Don’t judge me for what you don’t understand.
Don’t say I’m wrong or evil
When you yourself have only walked one path,
Lived and loved in only one way.
At least meet me half way -
With one simple idea.....
That what may be good for you,
May not be good for me.
And what may be good for me,
May not be good for you.
But neither way is wrong,
As long as there is love.
