Why or why not? Is it the government's business. Could it help people regulate drugs so that cartel violence does not happen and people are less likely to be abuse the drugs? Or should drug offenders receive a different type of punishment

IMHO, they need to legalize weed. But, do it like alcohol and cigerettes. Be atleast 18 or 21. They could tax it, and make money off of it. So they should be happy with that decision.

People will still buy weed for cheaper by not buying it at the store. Sure, put an age, but there will still be people getting arrested for underage, though. The majority, I think, that do weed are under the age of eighteen and are in highschool.

Yes. They should legalize Meth and PCP. That'd make things allot better.

The problem with this question by the OP is what is meant by "drugs". Do you mean all drugs, anything from weed to PCP to LSD to crack to heroine and so forth? Or, is it limited to only a select few drugs? If you mean make all illegal drugs become legal for people 18 or 21 years old and older, then I say no. Things such as weed I could be somewhat lenient on but making the others such as PCP and LSD legal I cannot support, unless of course you want to be on the road to destroying the given society, in which case I'd say go for it. Presuming you want to maintain it, then no.
