View Full Version : Odd Reasons

Lately I've been crying for no reason, and I have no idea why, like earlier I was sitting on the computer really happy listening to music then I heard a door slam across the road and started crying really bad.
This has been going on for about a week now and has become annoying. Even more seems how I get really depressed for about 2hours afterward.

Maybe there is a reason. You might have to do some self-searching, or see someone, or just talk to a friend. Try to figure it out.
If nothing works, try contacting a doctor.

Could it be that you witnessed something when you were younger (it needn't be anything truly terrible) and that you are being triggered by things that mirror things from that incident?

You know, you don't HAVE to have some gigantic traumatic event in your life to be emotional.

It could just be that you're going through puberty, and mood swings come in the full care package.

If I've learned anything from my own experiences, it is that there are things we encounter will make no sense at all. Attempting to understand the logic behind the irrational is always worth a try, but it's okay if that yields nothing substantial - not everything has clear, definitive causes. In such cases, it is more practical to focus rather on how to cope with the experience, as opposed to stressing over how it came to be in the first place.

Everything will pass with time and change; in the meantime, just do whatever you feel is necessary to stay collected and aware. Don't let those feelings gain any more power over you than they already have - they're an annoyance now, but they can become a threat to your overall well-being. (Or, is that starting to happen already?)

Hope you find clarity amidst the confusion.

Deary, I started puberty at 12, I'm 15 now. :P lol

Not that I can think of? I've never really had anything bad happen to me..

You don't stop until you're 18-21 bruh.

Puberty isn't like a year-long thing. Lasts awhile.

That's the 'common' age. Just like the common age to start is 13-14.
Everyone is different, and in no way am I saying I'm done with puberty, what I'm saying is:
Why all of a sudden?

At what point you see certain changes sparked by adolescence (especially with regards to mood swings and the such like) can't be set in stone since we are all different people leading different lives and encountering different difficulties.

No, don't try anti-depressants. They come with an increased occurrence of suicidal thoughts and attempts when taken by under 18s.

Let yourself cry. Let yourself talk about your emotions. Let yourself engage in a healthy lifestyle.
