Why does everybody think that pot is SOO damn great?

I won't lie, I've had my run with pot in the past, but I never thought it was THAT great. I just don't understand why people like it so much. Anybody wanna explain?

I don't want stories, just an explanation 'll do.

i am not able to explain it but it always seems to bring a newer look at things for me. like i can appreciate things like a flower (probly because i cant seem to get up) butits always been a positive experience.

It feels good. That's basically it. There's nothing wrong with it. I smoke occasionally but I've never actually bought any. Just been with friends and whatnot.

Helps fix the body, expands your conciousness without making you completely loose it, it's a natural drug and does no harm at all in moderation.

Cannabis is my drug of choice. It's physically safer than cigarettes, alcohol and half of the pharmaceutical medications out there. For me, the worst symptoms are eating too much food, dry mouth and police officers. Also, the smoke isn't the best thing for your lungs but there are ways around that and there a plenty of studies that show it does not lead to lung cancer.

I smoke it because it relaxes me after a stressful day, as well as it calms me down, and its just an overall good feeling, the world slows down a bit which is nice...

I wouldn't say weed is GREAT, but it's predominately non-addictive (at least in a physical sense) and it causes far less damage on your body than alcohol and cigarettes, two legal substances.

While (under the effects) you experience much slower reflex time and some euphoric spacey thoughts, there really is no reason as to why it should be illegal. It even has medicinal uses, such as a (very) function anti-anxiolytic as well as a smooth muscle relaxant.

Why, you may ask, is it illegal? Due to the unregulatation of marijuana growers, and therefore the inability for the government to effectively tax it. I'm also pretty sure that it's more profitable for some congressional members to leave it illegal. Prolonged use can make you a fucking dumbass, for lack of a better way to phrase it, however.
