That's a pretty difficult question to answer; because most people, whilst sharing some common features of "checking someone out", all act differently in one way or another. Also, if you're behind me and giving me the once over, well, I'll never notice will I? But if I saw you staring at me, I might think you were checking me out... But the fact is that the act of staring/looking is a very ambiguous action - it could mean a whole host of things from "you're hot" to "wtf is wrong with your face" to "I'll fucking kill you if you move an inch".

So really, we can't tell you.

watch the facial expressions on the person. if they give a kind of tender look or raise and eyebrow or such they could be checking you out. there are all sorts of ways to each their own.

Ok, just to help, when i check someone out, i try to keep my head down, but at the same time have it high enough just to give their body a good look up and down, if im looking at someones face, i try to keep my eyes locked on something in the background and switch back between the face and the background.

Heh, well I'll be walking through the lunch room with my boyfriend and he'll say something along the lines of "Oh my god, that guy just checked you out!" He finds it funny :l- So, I know it's happened to me. And I've caught people undoubtebly doing it before, though I personally don't think I'm much to look at.

Obviously, the best solution to finding out if you're being checked out is to find a wing man (or woman) to watch the people around you and see who gives you the once-over ;)

Lol... but very true. You can't really tell that much from staring.

And that's pretty much exactly what I do... I guess I'm not inconspicuous enough though, cuz once a guy said "why are u checking me out?". idk if he was serious, but...

I've noticed guys looking at "areas" before, was anything but flattering. It depends, some people are very subtile about it but others are practically looking at you with a magnifying glass.

Yupp, i have always thought it was easy to tell when someone is checking me out. For an example. If somebody is staring at you, but keep looking away, and you are not wearing anything exotic, and you are not doing anything to attract attention or piss them off, they are probably checking you out.

And i am sure everyone gets checked out more than they think they do.

watch how there eyes are and their expression. it is easy to tell with their eyebrows
