Hey everyone!

Just signed up... My name's Declan, I'm 19 years old and I'm from England.

I know, starting in style with a self-proclaimed ASL. Loving me already, right? Well get a load of this, I'm from GovTeen! I'm a P101 senior mod over there and have been a mod pretty much since I joined - coming up my 4th year anniversary :D! I have 12,000 posts over 4 years - but thought it'd be pretty fun to get involved in another community over here... So hope you're all lovely, etc.

A little bit about myself... I'm an English Literature and Education undergraduate student studying in Bath, England. I want to be a teacher when I'm finished with my degree. I have a great passion for helping and giving advice - I find it both empowering and rewarding for both the giver and receiver! (Get your fucking minds out the gutter you dirty bastards!) I love writing poetry and will be posting some work in the relevant forum if anyone fancies giving it a read - I'm always open to criticism and interpretations; it's wonderful what emotions language can inspire in people.

Anyway, it's nice to be here, hoping I'll be sticking around... and all that gooey stuff. (They just keep coming...) (lol, I said coming... lolol). Christ. Okay, fin.

I DID say in my original post, but since it's you (Heather? :P)... just to experience a different community in a similar setting. It's quite interesting to see the differences, and a lot of gov members are also members here so I thought it'd be nice.
