It's perfectly natural to be shy about something which society is still struggling to accept. There's a risk involved with declaring yourself as gay; you're opening yourself to sometimes very hostile and nasty judgements, that are entirely unfounded, but still exist. Getting involved in homosexual experiences involves leaving yourself vulnerable; so I can assure you you're not alone in struggling with hiding it.

Ultimately, though, you don't have to label yourself. I for one am a firm believer that you like other adult humans and that's all that matters. You are being human, and thus being sexual, and there is no need for anyone to question that.

I ain't really shy to come out, more afraid. My society wouldn't accept me well. Though, i am not shy to have gay sex, i already did have it. :D
