Varicoceles

Umm, so today i discovered that i have varicoceles. I've heard that they can either not affect me at all, or on the other extreme, require surgery. I know that I should get it checked out by a doc, but does anyone have any experiences with these and should I worry. Oh, and any suggestion on how to try to get my parents to get me an appointment? I can tell that my parents are really uncomfortable talking about this kind of thing, and so am I. Any help would be appreciated.

They are not life threatening. They are veins inside the testicles that became larger.

They really cause no problem really. The only thing is that they probably cause infertility.

But there is a possibility that it's something more serious though. Or if you would have them removed by your preference. So you would have to see a doctor.

I would just sit down and talk to your parents about it. I really don't see why they wouldn't take you to the doctor. They might be uncomfortable, but I know that they will try to help you.

I also read that it causes infertility. I would really talk to my parents.

Sit down with them, and tell them that you need to goto the doctor.

Or make the appointment your self and ask them to drive you there.

How do you know you have a varicocele if you haven't gone to the doctor yet?
Self diagnosing can probably cause more problems than solutions. I suggest going to see the doctor for him/her to diagnose. That way as soon as you are diagnosed, they will give you options for treatment.
I say this because there is a chance you don't actually have one...but I am not sure what your symptoms are
