I'm 17 and I've never had a job. :/ but I really want one so I can save up and move out on my own. I have a great family. I just want the independence. I understand that moving out costs a WHOLE lot. I'm still a junior in high school, and I don't want my education to suffer. But I want to be able to take care of myself. I love my family, I couldn't ask for a better one. Another thing, I don't want my mum or dad to think that I want to move out to get away from them. That couldn't be farther from the truth I don't really want to leave them, but I could visit them anytime right? anyway, do you think that this is all possible? moving, keeping my schoolwork up, and balancing my social life?

I would graduate high school first before I do anything.
It's going to be hard to find a job to pay for rent and stuff like that. Maybe you should be happy that you have a place to stay with your parents.
I'm not saying it's bad for you to move out. In fact, I think it's a great idea that you want to be independent of yourself. It's part of growing up.
But I would finish my education first. Probably find a decent job after. Enjoy living with your parents for now.

Since you love your family very much why do you even think of independence?
Like August said first complete your schooling, then you can go on your own. Furthermore if you go now there is a high probability that your education will suffer.

Don't leave til halfway or after college... then you will most likely be able to keep up for yourself
