I probably have the best life out of all my "friends", My parents are great, We are in the upper Middle class, I get along with almost everyone, but... I am depressed, I think it's part of being lonely but I'm not sure... Can anyone help me?

It is entirely possible to possess all that which measures up to society's definition of a fulfilling life, yet still experience profound emptiness inside. That's something you'll have to sincerely think about for yourself.

It can also be the result of a biological/hormonal imbalance - or a combination of the above.

depression actually occurs in the majority of the youth population at some point. a large majority. this actually makes depression a normal part of life almost. you may be lonely yes. or you could just be a teenager. or it could be something else. what's goin on in your life right now?

Well, the girl i was going to ask out found out and replied that we cant go out because it would ruin our friendship, That was the reason i was sad for about a week, then nothing bad really happened since then, I haven't really gotten over her yet so that could also be the reason.

depression is a world wide epidemic and occurs with even the most fulfilling lives. Some have it worse then others, but this could be a hormonal thing and should pass with time. As regards to your lady friend if she wants to be friends its perfectly ok. No worries my friend there isn't anything wrong with you.
