I've been looking to read some new books, and I was wondering based on the book I like if you guys could recommend a few.
Don't forget to tell me a brief info about them.
Books I like: Golden Compass, Narnia, Harry Potter, Vampire Academy, Twilight, The Secret Garden, Warriors, Chronicles of Faerie, Green Angel.
Thanks for any ideas. =]

The Mortal Instruments Series by Cassandra Claire
The main character in this is about 17 and has her 'life' thrown away and replaced by the one her mum tried to shield her from. I think, by your list, you will REALLY like this series, at least give it a check out. Its all about Shadow Hunters (Angel-Human hybrids).
Anything by Jodi Picoult
She's currently my favorite author.
The Host by Stephanie Meyer
The ONLY good book she has ever written. Its all about mind controlling aliens, blackmail... there's a lot.
The House of Night by P.C. Cast and her Daughter
Really good, very addicting. All about vampires and fighting for the love of their Goddess Nyx.

Have you read Bridge to Terabithia? That's all that comes to mind at the moment; definitely an all-time favourite.

Ugh, Eragon just bored to me death.
I liked these ones alot:
The outsiders
The warriors ( About the New york gang, not to be confused with that other stuff )
They were both really good, in my opinion

The Dark Tower.
That's really vague. :P
There's a Dark Tower by C.S. Lewis and then the Stephen King one that you're talking about, which has like ten parts. :P
Anyway OP, I dunno if you'd like the same kind of books as me. You could try out Seventh Son by Orson Scott Card, which is sort of your style, just in the slightest possible way. Or, you could try 1984(just for the lulz, y'know? :P).
