hi , not sure if this is the right place for this kind of tread but anyways ; ive got a big problem , i have really big difficulty to sleep , even if im tired , i cant really sleep . i just lay down ...but it seems like my brain can't stop thinking , i ''hear'' myself thinking and i just cant stop it , always thinking about school , good things 97% of the time but it can't really stop , i keep getting sick because i've got no energy to maintain my system healthy (not at a dangerous point lol) oh and if it changes something... i have a light deficit of attention (dunno if thats the correct name in english ) under medication . Please help me find a way to sleep ! :):yawn:

you could try and use something that you think will calm you... like for me i like music, it calms me down and puts me to sleep and sometimes i cant sleep without it... or if you do want to take sleeping pills you could try and get a heavy dose (but don OD... :P) and try to knock out on that... idk those are my ideas... :D

Make sure you don't drink a heavy amount of Caffeine right before bed. Soda and Coffee contain lots of it.
Make sure you are not on the computer or watching tv before bed as those can actually keep you up. The light from the television or the computer stimulate your eyes to stay awake believe it or not.
I wouldn't suggest sleeping pills or sleeping aids.
Maybe you should tell your doctor that your meds make it hard for you to fall asleep. Maybe he can give you a lower or higher dosage depending on that.

If I ever have problems I just put my iPod on its quietest level and concentrate on the music or use my imagination a little (yes, I imagine i'm on stage...) It really works wonders for me, music is great for that sort of thing.
